  • Dorking Christian Centre invite you to enjoy a wonderful Christmas Day at Dorking Christian Centre; from 11.00am arrivals and welcome drinks  12.30pm Festive Christmas Lunch; followed by gifts, games and entertainment; 3.00pm The Queen’s Speech; followed by tea, cake and conversation; from 3.45pm ‘goody bags’ and departures; Suggested donation £5.00 per head.  Come alone, come with friends, bring a neighbour, bring the whole family.   • Crossways Community Baptist Church are are holding a lunchtime concert on Saturday 15th December, 1-2pm, ending with carols.  All welcome.  There will be coffee and cake.
  • Pocket Angel - Please donate and share the campaign with your friends and family via email and on your social media channels especially Facebook & Twitter.
  • Gofundme Campaign:  Update - just over £1700 of the £5000 required has been raised and we are continuing to make strides. Pocket Angel will be holding its first ever rough sleeping sleep out style event.  For more info or to book a space on the event click here:

  • Creative Crafts - New Group at United Reformed Church.  Click here for flyer.  Donations of wool, knitting or crochet needles, cross stitch/tapestry (new or started), colouring books, and other unwanted crafting materials greatly appreciated.
  • Conquest Art - Is a charitable art group in Dorking inspiring people with disabilities and long term health issues to discover their creative energy and build self-confidence through art - The Dorking group meets on Thursdays at United Reformed Church.  It will be held the 1st, 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from 2pm to 4pm.  No art experience necessary.  Make new friends and have fun.  For further info on becoming a member or  to volunteer call 0203 044 2731 or email
  • Homestart is a local charity based in Redhill which supports families in the East Surrey area who have at least one child under five and are facing some difficulty in their life. We desperately need new volunteers and are starting an 8-week training course in September at Reigate Park Church.  We are looking for volunteers who can attend an 8 week preparation course starting in January (one day a week, within school hours and not including school holidays) and can then commit to visiting a local family once a week for 2-3 hours.  For further information: or call the office on 01737 770220
