Giving: supporting our vision
Our church is financed by the generous giving of our church family. We need about £360,000 each year to cover the cost of our church's work and outreach. This is equivalent to around £30 per week for every person who comes to one of our services.
If you consider St Paul's to be your church, but are not yet one of our monthly givers - please set up a standing order.
If you are one of our regular givers - thank you! We encourage everyone to review their giving regularly.
In this season we are praying for an increase in giving in order to employ an Associate Vicar and a Worship Pastor in 2019.
You can give to St. Paul's regularly in the following ways:
-
setting up a standing order to St Paul's Church (account number 00023425, sort code 40-52-40). This may be done by completing and returning a Standing Order Form or via your online personal banking.
-
payroll giving (through your employer's Give As You Earn scheme).
-
joining the Planned Giving Envelope Scheme.
-
from a charity account (CAF, Stewardship, Charities Trust etc) by standing order, online transfer or voucher.
-
cash or cheque in the collections taken at regular services (UK taxpayers please use a Gift Aid envelope).
If you are a UK taxpayer, we can significantly increase your contribution by reclaiming tax under the Gift Aid scheme at no additional cost to you. Please complete a Gift Aid Form and return to the Gift Aid Secretary, c/o St Paul's Church Office. The declaration covers all donations made in any form (standing order, cheques, cash) as long as they can be identified as coming from you.
St Paul's is a registered charity no 1133798.
If you would like any further information or help about giving to St Paul's, please contact the Treasurer by email to treasurer@stpaulsdorking.org.uk. Please return any forms c/o Finance Team, St Paul's Church Office, St Paul's Road West, Dorking, Surrey, RH4 2HT.
