FAQs
What can I expect at each service?
All of our services include a Bible reading followed by a sermon, where we delve deeper into God’s word and how to apply it to our lives. You can also expect worship, prayer ministry and light refreshments at every service.
The 9.00 generally includes more spoken liturgy though there is some in The 10.30 too. There is Holy Communion at both morning services, but The 10.30 is only once a month (3rd Sunday) and The 9.00 is every other week (1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday).
The 10.30 is an all-age service with children’s groups hosted in other parts of the church, led by our team of wonderful volunteers. You are welcome to join your children in their groups or remain in the service. If you have very small children, there is a small play area in the main church, or we have a comfortable foyer area with sofas and speakers playing the main service so you don’t need to miss a minute.
How long is the service?
We aim to keep our services between 60-90 minutes (with room for extended worship and prayer ministry).
What is Cafe Church?
On the first Sunday of the month, all ages are welcome to enjoy bacon croissants, coffee and crafts at Cafe Church. We run crafts and games from 10.30-11.00 followed by a shorter sermon and sung worship. For those wanting a more in-depth Bible study, we offer a ‘grown up’ talk in the church hall.
How accessible is the church?
Our church is fully wheelchair accessible, including a disabled toilet, lift to the lower floor, and step-free access. In addition, we offer a hearing loop, large-font booklets, baby changing facilities, blankets on colder days, and we are a breastfeeding-friendly venue. If you are nervous about attending in-person, our 9.00 service is live streamed and we upload the audio of our sermons here.
